This week has been crazy packed! To start we did a lot of service this week! We helped one of the members of our branch move into her house and im not going to lie we flipped that house! By the time we left it looked like a whole different house. We had the whole zone come help. We cleaned all the rooms, walls, kitchen, living room and then painted the inside. Then we cleaned all the windows inside and outside! haha shoutout to my mom for making me clean back home cause some of the palangi kids didnt know what the heck they were doing haha! But no it was fun! A service project really turned into a bonding moment for my zone! I brought my speaker too so we were all having fun and cleaning! It was a good time!

During the week me and Elder Hagues also had to do 5 baptism interviews. 4 for our zone and then we had to drive to another city that was like 45 min away and do one for Elder Matthews because his zone leaders aren't Spanish missionaries. So that day was crazy but hecka fun!
On Friday one of the members of the branch was getting married so all 10 of us missionaries in the branch went for the last part! Haha Mexican weddings are crazy! They almost as crazy as poly wedding but not that crazy! Haha the food and cake was bomb though!

Leti and Itzayana are still preparing for baptism and I can honestly say that these are the most prepared people that I have ever met on my mission! its honestly insane! I have grown such a big love for them over these past 4 weeks knowing them and I can't wait to see them enter into the waters of baptism this Friday! Every lesson we have with them just goes super good! Honestly they are golden! But they came to church yesterday and the members took such good care of them as well! It was awesome! Pics of their baptism will be coming soon!

Yesterday we had a baptism in our zone and the elders that were having it called us right before church and were like,"hey can you guys do the message after the baptism is done while they are changing?" we were like oh shoot thanks for giving us time to prepare! haha so me and Elder Hagues were thinking of what we could do and we didn't just want to show a video and then be done, so we thought shoot bro lets sing como puedo ser! Haha so from right after church till the baptism we just practiced "how can I be" with the other Elders that we live with! Haha im not going to lie it was alright but it was super fun. Haha I played the uke and we all sang at the baptism and everyone liked it, so I guess we did pretty good! haha right before we went up, I told the elders, "well if it goes bad or good, nobody is going to forget it haha" But it was cool and Sister and Pres Jackman were there too!

We also had super MLC this week as well! I got to see all the old homies from around the mission so it was cool! Me and Elder Hagues got to role play with the Jackman's in front of all the leadership so that was nerve racking but the spirit definitely helped us do it! Learned a lot though of how to use the BOM better! Its such a strong tool!

This week was crazy but seriously so fun! Time is flying, the weeks are literally just getting smashed all together so Im probz missing a lot of things but its all good. I am loving life right now! Until next week! I love you all! Have a good week!

OH MAN OH MAN WHAT A WEEK!

We had transfers and I received my new companion, Elder Hagues! Hes from San Diego and is literally such a baller missionary! Hes been out for 9 months and already got called to be a Zone Leader! Haha me and him are the youngest Zone Leader companionship but you already know we are putting in work! But honestly this past week, Me and Elder Hagues have been able to see so many miracles in our area. We have honestly just been trying to work our hardest and be the best examples we can be to our zone. It definitely is a different attitude with Elder Hagues then it has been with my other companions and I love it! We are honestly motivated for the love of the people in our area and the love we have for our missionaries that we are over.

These past couple days have literally been packed with meeting and planning but also with so many miracles! One of the things that I love most about Elder Hagues is that he just wants to work but also wants to have fun at the same time. Throughout the days when we would get done either with planning for something or a meeting and we would have an hr or so we would go as hard as we can and go find the elect. Honestly on Friday and Saturday we just skipped dinner because we wanted more time to find. Its gotten to the point of my mission where I have realized how important time is, this is the lords time and not mine and I have seen the blessings of striving to be a more diligent missionary. A couple of those blessings were named Ray, who we found on Friday, Henry, who we found on Saturday, and Estaban and Jose that we found yesterday! These guys were all so prepared by the hand of the lord to receive our message! It was insane to see! I have realized that the more obedient I am and the more diligent I am the more the Lord is going to trust me with those that he has prepared! It feels so good to meet someone and just feel that this is the exact person that you were suppose to find today. All the prayers during finding, all the doors that you knock in the heat, is all worth it once you find that one that has been searching for the truth! I have been able to see that first hand these past couple of days and it has been awesome!

Yesterday we were able to get Itzayana and Leti to church! They are so prepared for their baptism on the 31st and I honestly am so excited for them! Me and Elder Hagues prayed and thought hard about how we can get them more fellowship and we figured out that we need to get one of the young women to come with us to their house on saturday to invite Itzi the daughter to church with us. it honestly could have not gone any better. We went over there and Adriana the young women bore her testimony of young women's and mutual and it really got Itzayana pumped to come to church! They exchanged facebook's and it was awesome! Then yesterday at church they sat by each other and then Adriana took over from there and took her to class with all the other young women while, leti her mom was taken by some other members to her class! It literally was perfect!

Also yesterday we had Erick come to church as well! Erick has a hard situation with his life but has been able to see the gospel help him in many ways. Yesterday we had one of the most spiritually lit lessons I have ever been in! We had a lesson at one of the members houses, Hermano Pepe's and also had Presidente Moreno come as well! We had such a strong and bold lesson about covenants that led to baptism! The testimonies of Presidente moreno and Hermano Pepe brought the spirit so strong and at the end of the lesson we invited him to pray about baptism, and we honestly are probably going to baptize him this Saturday before he goes back to mexico! It seriously is a miracle!

Lol some funny things also happened this week! We blessed a dog... haha let me explain so on friday we get a call from the relief society president in our branch and she asks us to come over and give a blessing. So we paused everything we were doing and went over. haha when we got there she was practicing her flauta and so we sat there and she played it for like 20 min to show us how good she was haha me and elder hagues literally almost knocked out cold on her couch it was so soothing lol. But then after she is done she starts explaining about how she remembers hearing a story about president snow giving a blessing to an oxen and then proceeded to ask us to give a blessing to this dog which was actually another members. So she calls out to this little girl who brings the dog and we are all just like oh shoot what do we do and then we were just like ok hold the dog and we blessed the dog. We told them it would be by their faith that the dog would be healed and the little girl was so happy. Then yesterday when we were at church they came up to us and said, "CHICO ESTA BIEN!" the dog got bit by a snake so it like couldn't walk anymore but now it was walking just fine! hahah it was crazy but also another testimony of the priesthood power and the faith that goes into those blessings! Haha might be the craziest thing I have done with the priesthood but it was a great experience!

Crazy week! But I love you all and hope you guys all have a great week!

This week was super good! We had our Why I Believe Fireside/ Charla Fogonera! It was such a good turnout! We had about 15 non members there and Leti, Itzayana and Erick, who are preparing for baptism, all came thru and the members were fellow shipping them like crazy! It was literally so awesome! #MemberMissionaryWork Also one of my favorite families in the whole world came all the way from Mattawa, The Garfias! It was so nice to see them and honestly gave me a boost that I needed! Also one of my brothers from Toppenish came to the Charla to see me as well, Tony Boxer! It was seriously so nice to see the chapel packed like that on a Sunday night listening to the beautiful conversion stories and hearing the beautiful testimonies that were said, the spirit was seriously so strong! Definitely a night I will remember for the rest of my life!

I also hit my year mark this past week and honestly its so crazy! The time has flown by! I have learned so much from the people that we teach, my leaders, companions and also from personal experiences and I can honestly say that I have gained a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I know that this church, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is the ONLY true church on the earth today! I have come to know my savior this past year in a way that I never thought I could. I know that he lives with no doubt in my body and that he has died and sacrificed his life so that we can feel joy in ours! I know that he knows me personally as well as everyone else! I have come to find out and I testify that the Book of Mormon is true and that it works as a companion to the Bible and with both we can know and learn more about our savior Jesus Christ! I have come to know these things because of the power of prayer and my testimony of revelation. I know that our Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that he will answer us every time but in his time! I also know that gods timing is perfect, with patience and faith in him, we will be able to see that every time and see that he has a plan for each and everyone of us! I honestly have come to know how much love I have for my family and especially my parents and grandparents and for the examples they are in my life! I am grateful for the knowledge I have of the Plan of Salvation and my testimony of eternal families! I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve for this short time and to be able to learn so much! I have to come to know my "why" and one of my big why's of serving my mission is my family! I love them so much and that's why I am willing to leave them for this short time and share this message with every person I talk too so that they can feel the same happiness with their families I feel when I am with mine! The Gospel brings so much happiness! I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today, who leads and guides this church, President Nelson! I have seen his changes enhance the work that we are all apart of in this world! I testify to you all that this is the same church that our savior Jesus Christ established when he came to this earth and I can promise you that you can know for yourself as well! All you have to do is ask. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of god and that through him the gospel has been restored! I know these things to be true and I say these things with all of my heart, in the name of our savior Jesus Christ, amen!

What a week! We had transfer calls this past Saturday and.......... I will be staying in Yakima! It's crazy, I will be training a new Zone Leader! His name is Elder Hagues! I'm super pumped and actually super nervous too because I just got trained as a ZL this past transfer; but everything will be good cause the Lord got us! I'm putting all my trust in Him to help me out haha! Also like half of our zone is getting transferred to different areas so big changes, but I am pumped!

Other than that we had a combined activity with the other 2 Spanish branches down in the Yakima area and it was so sick! They held it down in Sunnyside which is about 45 min away from Yakima. So when we were driving down I got to see my old area Toppenish! It was so weird! But the activity was super fun and we had 2 people that we are teaching come down and they loved it too!

This week we were also able to do service for one of the nicest people I have come to know on my mission! Their names are  Alvin and his wife Arlene. They are so sweet! We helped them move their stuff for their new house out of their warehouse! Their warehouse is sick! He has old cars, motorcycles and all these different kinds of guitars! Also at the end when we were done he showed us these tunnels at the bottom of warehouse and if you know me, you already know I had to climb into those tunnels and see what was at the end! Haha so me and Elder Barnes went in it and found this room in the back, it was crazy! Then we got the whole zone to come in it and come back hahah it was lit! Everyone got on their stomachs and climbed back! #LEGENDARY (pics will be down below)

This week I had the opportunity to finish the Book of Mormon in Spanish for my first time! There is no doubt in my mind that the Book of Mormon is true! Read it. Pray about it and you will know as well! I can promise you that! It answers questions that no other book can. If you have a problem you will be able to find the solution in the Book of Mormon! I invite you all to start reading the Book of Mormon if you aren't already reading! It will bring you peace and happiness! I promise you that with all my heart, I love you all and hope you all have a good week!
